Environmental Permits - Public Register

From here you can find out if a property within the Dudley Borough is located near to a premise that currently holds an Environmental Permit issued by Dudley Council, or a permit that has been revoked or surrendered in the last three months. For these premises you can also view an associated datasheet, which provides the company details, the associated permit and all documents required to be held on the public register.

Once you select an address that the system recognises, a map centred on this address will be shown. Premises holding a current Permit are shown as green-hatched areas with black borders. Clicking within the green hatching will call up details of the Permit.

What Environmental Permits are held on this database?

The Environmental Permits shown on this database are only those which Dudley Council has issued. The Permits issued by Dudley Council fall into the following categories:

  • Part A2 Installations as defined in Part 2 of Schedule 1 to the Environmental Permitting (England and Wales) Regulations 2010 as amended
  • Part B Installations as defined in Part 2 of Schedule 1 to the Environmental Permitting (England and Wales) Regulations 2010 as amended

For information about Part A1 Permits and Waste Installation Permits you should contact the Environment Agency on 0800 807060 or view the Environment Agency website.
